BeachFinder MCP

Turn "Where should I swim today?" into a source-backed answer.
BeachFinder gives AI assistants read-only access to public discovery across 184,900 beaches, lakes and swimming spots worldwide. It can rank places for a user's real intent, compare options, add current planning signals where coverage exists, and always return a canonical BeachFinder link.
Why connect BeachFinder?
- Find beaches, lakes, bathing places and natural swimming spots by destination or consented location.
- Compare water and air temperature, wind, gusts, UV, waves and currents where available.
- Search for surf, diving, snorkeling, river, whitewater and vanlife-relevant locations.
- Discover source-backed water-activity providers without exposing private or direct contact data.
- Find practical destination, GTA 6 and football travel guides.
- Read anonymous community-condition summaries without user identities.
- Open every result on BeachFinder or continue in the iOS and Android app.
BeachFinder supports English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Turkish, Russian and Indonesian.

What the assistant receives
Results are compact and designed for useful recommendations:
- place name, type and public location context;
- reasons for the ranking and a confidence label;
- freshness and source attribution;
- current planning signals when available;
- canonical `getbeachfinder.com` page;
- BeachFinder app link.
The visual MCP App can render a responsive result list and OpenStreetMap view.
Safety and privacy
BeachFinder never declares that swimming is safe. Forecasts and community observations are planning signals. Official closures, beach flags, lifeguards and local authorities always take priority.
All tools are read-only. They cannot book, message, claim, moderate or edit anything. Provider results exclude email, phone, external website and private contact data. Exact user coordinates are accepted only when the user consents and are not written to application logs.
